And that’s a wrap… O Week 2025 done and dusted! Even bigger and better than last year, we took O Week by storm!

This year saw a wide range of activities on campus, from vending machines to win merchandise and goodies, a fully branded Jeep and a self-pour bar!

Bacardi:

Students newest party drink… We partnered with three of the largest campuses in Sydney to bring Bacardi to the hottest event nights of the semester. The semester long partnership saw us attending 10 event nights alongside a competitive drinks offer throughout the entire semester, aiming to drive Bacardi sales. We attended the O Week party at all 3 universities, kickstarting students university party lives with Bacardi as their go-to drink.

Our set consisted of two huge Bacardi back drops, with neon bat wings, giant Bacardi bottles and signage spread throughout. The hero moment was the self-pour bar, where students could pour themselves a Bacardi and mixer. How cool, right? The interactive set saw huge queues, resulting in Bacardi being the top selling spirit of all event nights, and a 350x increase in sales YoY so far! The partnership continues for the remainder of the semester, so more sales and Bacardi converts to come!

Hi Chew:

Spreading the joy of lollies! We brought a Hi Chew vending machine to campus… with a giant 10m long, colourful hopscotch leading up to it! On the main walkway of one of the largest campuses in VIC, you really couldn’t miss it.

Surrounded by eye-catching activity such as flash mobs and branded bikes, the vending machine distributed stock AND made an impact on campus.

Alongside a large-scale sampling campaign via street teams and society sampling, we sampled 25,270 Hi Chews nationally to students eager to try!

Princess Polly:

The ultimate photo opp – a fully branded Jeep! We brought the iconic Princess Polly Jeep to two campuses in Sydney, creating an unmissable Instagram moment for students. Alongside this, we ran a ‘spin to win’ game to distribute trendy merch, and all students had to do was sign up to the SMS mailing list, easy!

Student influencers worked at the activation, encouraging students to head down to the activations via their social accounts. Students were excited to meet their favourite influencers at the stall!

Students went absolutely wild for the giveaways, with everything from phone plates to baby tee’s being distributed. The activation saw HUGE queues all day long, resulting in us receiving 3000+ sign ups to the mailing list and distributing 5,000 branded merchandise items.

Gillette:

FREE RAZORS!! 75,000 razors distributed to students nationwide… now that’s a big number!

We attended 10 campuses nationally, with 15 live event days, distributing Gillette and Venus razors in exchange for data capture. If a free razor wasn’t enough, students also went in the running to win one of three $500 gift cards!

The stall saw thousands of students daily, queueing to see what Gillette had to offer. A repeat campaign, with a simple but effective mechanic and set… just goes to show, it works!

What a whirlwind it has been! Another successful O Week complete. On to Semester 2!
